In July 2021 at the Mathews Family reunion, a semi-annual event the two eldest brothers Chris and Mike uncovered a dream Chris was quite sure had slipped a way, shared it in casual conversation with Mike; and almost just as fast “America’s Great Loop” became the Mathews brothers Next “Bucket List” adventure.
The Family Reunion tradition is that every other year each since 2004 one of the five in order of birth select and plan the semi-annual pilgrimage and in 2021the David Mathews Family chose the wonderful Lake Michigan shoreline at the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Appropriately one of hundreds of destinations that can be visited on Americas Great Loop.
